*** It appears that primary hard drive in this server is failing and will require replacement. It seems that /var, /home and /usr all have filesystems that are not fully accessible due to bad blocks within their allocated space. We believe that... your only option in this case is to attempt to recovery from backups.  Would you like for us to move forward with the disk replacement and OS Reload immediately?  Thank you,  Davy S., SoftLayer CSA

I'm going to go do something else for a couple of hours :( Expect a rollback.

*** We've been down 12 hours and counting. Doubles will be on for as many hours as we're down so there's a chance to make back some of that imaginary 50k.

*** Nothing I can do until SL turn over the server to us, so I'm frustrated too. Would love a chance to be able to hurry :)

 Dear dohbies and our guests, please be aware that due to hosting company change, in the next 8 days DoH website may be brought offline for extended periods of time - up to 6 hours, and can become inaccessible (404 Not Found) for up to 48 hours.

Update: extended website maintenance is scheduled to start at 17-Aug-2010 22:00 (GMT +0200) and will last for 2-6 hours. Website will be inaccessible during maintenance.

Update2: If you see this text - it means that your dns cache have been successfully refreshed and you're now viewing our 'new' website location (in other words, everything is just OK).
